In Mission: Moon Shot, campers will work to successfully complete a mission to observe the Moon from Lunar orbit mirroring the Apollo 8 and Artemis 2 missions. Activities include a focus in robotics and rocketry, and introduce campers to careers in the arts, communications, Education, IT, and STEM.Ìý

Activities
- Complete a mission to orbit the Moon using both the ºÚÁÏ´óʼǒs Mission Control Center and Astralis capsule-based simulator modeled after
- Design a model rocket and test maximum altitude. Next, launch a powerful 2-stage model rocket with a payload to test launch conditions.
- Plan and conduct a live press conference.
- Train like an astronaut in the 4-G Centrifuge, the Multi-Axis Trainer (MAT), and a Russian Soyuz Spacecraft Simulator!
- Learn to code. Start with block coding our EV3s to pick up parts of a crashed spacecraft and then learn how to write JAVAscript code using our Sphero robots.
- Learn to fly drones through an obstacle course.
- Use your engineering skills to build a Rube Goldberg machine.
- Dive into exciting worlds using virtual reality technology.
- Build team communication and problem-solving skills on ºÚÁÏ´óʼǒs CosmoWorks Challenge Course.
