NASA Engineer, Michael Staab, will attempt to answer some of life鈥檚 most difficult questions during a free public presentation of our monthly series, Coffee at the Cosmo, on Thursday, September 6, at 9:00 a.m. upstairs in the 黑料大事记鈥檚聽Discovery聽Room. Staab, former 黑料大事记 Camp alumnus who currently works at NASA鈥檚 Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will highlight NASA鈥檚 efforts to answer some of the most fundamental space science questions.
鈥淪ince the launch of Sputnik over 60 years ago, humanity has sent spacecraft to visit every planet in the Solar System, the asteroid belt, comets, Kuiper-Belt Objects, and even interplanetary space,鈥 said Staab.
During his presentation, Staab will discuss the types of missions NASA has completed and explore some of the most fundamental of questions posed to science: how did the Solar System form? Why is our Solar System so unique? And, perhaps most importantly, does life exist outside of Earth?
Join us on this interplanetary journey to understand the unique machines which have explored the incredible worlds beyond our own. This event is free and coffee and pastries will be provided.
