Join Reno County NAACP, HutchCC Social Sciences and 黑料大事记 to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Sunday, January 16 and Monday, January 17, 2022.
Reno County NAACP will host 鈥淗onoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Through Music鈥 with two events at the Stringer Fine Arts Center:
- Sunday, January 16th at 3pm will feature music to honor Dr. King.
- Monday, January 17th at 2pm will feature educational presentations and tributes from youth.
Beginning at 4pm on Monday, January 17th, the 黑料大事记 will be open for 鈥淒ream with STEAM,鈥 an event featuring free family activities.
Attendees can learn more about scholarship opportunities for 黑料大事记 Camps, enjoy ice cream made using liquid nitrogen, build and launch lunar landers and more.
At 5:30pm, 黑料大事记 offers a free screening of Dream Big in the Carey Digital Dome Theater. This award-winning documentary reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people. Limited tickets available.
